General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern online bookings for retreats organized by SAMYAY E.I.R.L, located in Písac, Peru. By booking through our website (https://melissawasi.com), the client agrees to these terms.

2.  Bookings and Payments
Reservations: Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as specified at the time of booking (e.g., via Airbnb or direct booking).
Currency: All prices are listed in [USD/Soles]. Payments made in other currencies will be subject to the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
Inclusions: Rates include accommodation and breakfast served by our dedicated staff. Other services (tours, specific retreat activities, or specialized meals) are subject to additional charges.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Standard Cancellation: Guests may cancel up to [14 days] before arrival for a full refund.
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within [7 days] of the arrival date may be subject to a fee of [50-100%] of the total booking cost.
No-Shows: In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

4. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: From [15:00]. Please inform us of your arrival time to ensure our staff is ready to welcome you.
Check-out: By [11:00]. Late check-outs may be available upon request and may incur an additional fee.

5. House Rules & Guest Conduct
Respect for Community: Melissa Wasi is located in a tranquil area of Pisac. We ask guests to respect our neighbors and maintain low noise levels, especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Sustainability: We prioritize nature and local culture. Please be mindful of water and energy consumption.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms and common indoor areas. Please use designated outdoor spaces.

6. Liability and Insurance
Personal Property: Melissa Wasi is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. We recommend guests use available storage or keep valuables with them.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that guests hold valid travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, and personal liability during their stay in Peru.
Physical Activity: Guests participating in retreats or local excursions do so at their own risk.

7. Maintenance and Damages
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or equipment (beyond normal wear and tear) and will be charged the cost of repair or replacement.

8. Consumer Rights in Peru
In accordance with the Peruvian Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law 29571), ourguests have the right to file a claim or complaint before INDECOPI (Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual), the competentauthority in Peru for consumer protection.
